The Low Price of The Elliptical Cross Trainer With Computer
by S.G.R.BThere is always this assumption that just because a product costs more it automatically means that it is superior to lesser priced merchandise of the same line. There are instances where paying more does get you a better product. But that is not true for all merchandise. Take elliptical machines as a prime example. The Elliptical Cross Trainer with Computer is a very affordable elliptical machine. There are some elliptical machines that are well over one thousand dollars but this is not one of them. So does that make this elliptical machine inferior and does it mean that you will not get a good workout from using it?
The Elliptical Cross Trainer with Computer is a basic model elliptical trainer that will work your arms, legs, butt, hips and shoulders. It features added resistance so that you can increase your workout and it also has handle bars that lock into place to give you a “free running” workout. And being an elliptical trainer it allows you to work out by walking, jogging or running without feeling the impact on your joints. This is great news to those who are overweight or have joint pain.
The total weight of the Elliptical Cross Trainer is only sixty pounds. That means you can lift it with relative ease. But there are some downsides that customers have complained about. One being that the frame is similar to a stationary bike that has just been converted to an elliptical trainer. Users often comment that they feel as if they were being pushed forward and their feet would become cramped in the pedals. Some fixed this problem by adding a piece of wood to the front to raise the machine. Others have complained that the machine basically fell apart on them.
One customer did note that by using their own wrench, and not the one provided, they were able to tighten all the bolts properly and the machine has lasted quite a long time for them. It does seem that after a while the bolts do become loosened but quick use of a wrench to tighten the bolts can fix that problem before anything breaks.
Paying $100 for the Elliptical Cross Trainer with Computer is a really good deal and you do get a fairly decent machine for the money. Granted it is not as heavy duty as those you find in gyms but you are also not paying thousands of dollars for it either. The reviews are all fairly positive and the few gripes that are found are pretty easily solved with some elbow grease. You do need to verify the maximum weight limit for the machine first though before you purchase it.
